Alexandra Chatzipanagiotou is a graduate of the Department of History and Archeology of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and holds a Master’s Degree on Classical Archeology from the same University.
In 2005 she joined the Greek Archaeological Service (exam-based admittance).
Since 1998 she has been working as an archaeologist in the Ministry of Culture. She served in the National Archaeological Museum (1998-2005) participating also in the Re-exhibition of the Metalwork Collection, then in the Ephorate of Antiquities of Euboea (2005-2008) and the Department of Prehistoric and Classical Archaeological Sites, Monuments and Archaeological Works of the Directorate of Prehistoric & Classical Antiquities. Since January 2016 she has been a curator in the Metalwork Collection of the National Archaeological Museum.
