Ioannis Panagakos is an antiquities conservator at the Sculpture Conservation Laboratory of the National Archaeological Museum, specializing in stone antiquities. He received his conservation of cultural heritage degree from the University of West Attica (formerly TEI Aigaleo) and continued his studies with the completion of the Master of Arts in Digital Arts at the Athens School of Fine Arts. His special professional interests include the study of polychromed antiquities, 3D digital modeling and the virtual reassembly of fragmented antiquities.
