Katerina Kostanti holds a First Degree in Archaeology and Art History from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, a Master’s Degree in Prehistoric Archaeology from the University of Crete and is currently a PhD candidate at the University of Heidelberg.

She serves in the Greek Archaeological Service since 1992 and specifically since 2010 in the Department of the Collections of Prehistoric, Egyptian, Cypriot and Near Eastern Antiquities of the National Archaeological Museum.

Her primary academic interests include the archaeology of the Aegean Bronze Age, the archaeology of childhood and gender studies, social archaeology, Eastern Mediterranean cultural interrelations in the Bronze Age and Museum studies.
