Nikoletta Kanella Kladouri is a conservator of antiquities, graduate of the Department of Conservation of Antiquities and Works of Art, Technological Educational Institute of Athens (BSc). She holds a MSc in Cultural Heritage Materials and Technologies from the University of the Peloponnese, where she is a PhD researcher, focusing on analyses of metal votive finds from various sanctuaries in Arcadia (9th– 7th century BCE). Her research interests encompass the chemical analysis, characterisation and provenance of archaeological and historical metals, employing interdisciplinary approaches. In addition to metals, she has contributed to the analytical study of stones, pigments and vitreous materials. Between 1997 and 2019, she worked as a conservator for the Hellenic Ministry of Culture in the conservation laboratories of the archaeological site of Aigai and of the Ephorate of Antiquities of Arcadia. She currently works in the Laboratory of Archaeometry of the National Archaeological Museum. She has participated in various archaeological/excavation campaigns of different universities in Greece and abroad.
